incoming mail server
This may be referred to as Incoming mail server, POP3 account or something similar. POP stands for Post Office Protocol. This protocol picks up mail from our mail server and delivers it to the appropriate mailbox. The incoming mail server is

However if you are using Eudora then the POP server is

outgoing mail server
This may be referred to as Outgoing (SMTP) mail server, Outgoing mail (SMTP) or something similar. SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transport Protocol. This protocol is used to transfer email to others addresses on the Internet via our mail server.

  • mailhost.pavilion.net
mail server user name
This may be referred to as Mail Server user name, account id, POP3 username or something similar. This should be set to your mailbox name which is usually the same as your username. If you are unsure contact technical support.

news server
This may be referred to as Discussion groups (news) Server, NNTP/NNRP host, Usenet news settings or something similar. This is the setting you need to allow you to subscribe to and read mail from news groups
